The MALSI Spinout Showcase is an opportunity for emerging university life sciences spinouts to present/pitch to investors and industry. Two $2000 prizes will be awarded.
Selected applicants will be provided with:
Opportunity for a one-minute pitch to all attendees
Exhibit space at the showcase
Pitch-prep webinar
The application deadline is June 19th. Please contact your tech transfer office if you have any questions.
Eligibility
You are welcome to apply if:
You are a PI or researcher affiliated with a Massachusetts university or academic research hospital or a member of a team/spinout working with a PI.
You are working on commercializing life sciences technology/IP with the tech transfer office at your institution (you will be asked to provide contact info for who you are working with).
You have not raised or do not expect to raise more than $1M in dilutive funding (angel, venture) prior to the event.
Accepted applicants must be available to attend the MALSI 2026 event at The Engine, 750 Main St., Cambridge, MA from 1pm -7pm on July 23, 2026.
