Jennifer joined MassVentures as a Vice President in 2012 to focus on early-stage and seed investment in Massachusetts high-technology companies. Throughout her 20 years, in technology and finance, she has worked on everything from early internet search solutions and web analytics, to robotics and software used to design semiconductors. Her current investments leverage the power of data and automation to transform industries and provide clear business advantage. They span synthetic biology (Ginkgo Bioworks), data transparency (ClearGov), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for sales optimization (, and industrial IOT for advanced manufacturing (MachineMetrics).

She has been a member of the Golden Seeds angel investor network, served as Entrepreneurship Lead for the MIT Accelerating Information Technology Innovation program sponsored by Google, and is an active mentor for MIT, Harvard iLab, TechStars, and MassChallenge.

Previously, Jennifer served as Corporate Vice President of Investor Relations at Cadence Design Systems and spent 10 years as Senior Vice President and Senior Equity Research Analyst growing Black & Company into a mid-tier investment bank through its sale to Wells Fargo Securities. She is a black belt in the Indonesian Martial Art of Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen and holds the title Mas Goeroe.

Jennifer earned an MBA from MIT Sloan and a Bachelor of Arts from Reed College.
